Yay! The work is over! Mostly. *flops*

I continue to gloat over my stories. Since it was pinch-hitting, I had a bit of an advantage, and I had correctly guessed that yahtzee63 had done the seriously cool Twin Peaks Audrey/Cooper dream-sequence story Black, White And Red All Over, and that Arduinna had done the very cool Dead Zone Johnny/Walt story Eye Contact (and if she thinks she's getting away without writing more DZ, she is sadly mistaken), but the rest were a surprise.

corilannam wrote me a lovely Aubrey/Maturin (a pairing I hadn't even officially requested, since Yuletide happened before the movie came out and dragged me in, and yet somehow she got the idea I might like it *ggggg*), Undertow.

elynross wrote me a wonderfully fun Bobby/Darien Invisible Man story, Laughing All the Way. And it's even got a side of Eberts/Official at the end, in my opinion. *g*

bossymarmalade wrote me a terrific Audrey-POV Twin Peaks story, Great Northern; totally nails her voice. There so needs to be more Audrey/Cooper out there.

and flambeau wrote me a seriously *hot* Witchblade Irons/Nottingham drabble, 100. Wow, still fanning myself.

And now that the reveal is over, I can admit to my two stories and, like everyone in the universe, thank elynross for betaing both of them. *g* Arduinna also gave me a super-fast read-through on the pinch-hit.

In The Bleak Midwinter Dead Zone, Johnny/Walt/Christopher Wey
This was written for EA Karras, and was a really neat request to get -- for those who don't know, Christopher Wey is a character introduced in Season 2, who is from the future, post-Armageddon, and has the same visionary powers that Johnny has. In season 1, the show set up that two characters with the power can communicate across time, so long as they are both touching a single object (each in their respective time). Wey has found Johnny's silver cane handle in the future, and so he and Johnny are tentatively trying to work together to prevent Armageddon. It was a cool challenge to figure out a way for the three of them to interact. It turned out pretty grim, but that's appropriate, I think.

And I also pinch-hit a second story:
A Greater Compliment Justice League, Superman/Batman
So Te had asked for hot blowjob porn, and I was all, "Oh, no problem!" and so of course the story kicked my ass around the block and just sat. Then sanj reminded me of the comic Trust by Chip Kidd & Alex Ross, I ran off to re-read it, and I trashed the scraps I had come up with and wrote this one frantically in the last day. My Clark/Lex OTP kinda sneaked in there at the end, but I hope Te can forgive me for that. *g*

I also have a bunch of other recs for stories that weren't actually written for me, but I think those are going to have to wait for a later post, as now, must go find some late lunch. :)
