Supernatural: Generosity
I am attempting to post this from the train via blackberry! \o/
With many thanks to
cesperanza and
destina, whose original post for
family_secret inspired this, although it is not for any of the challenge prompts.
Generosity (1700 words)
Adult, Sam/Dean
John had traded away the gun; he'd have traded away more, and he was still feeling the cold dread of the moment when the demon had cocked its head like a pistol and said, "You know, I'm feeling generous today," because if it hadn't taken more, that was only because it figured what was in store was going to be worse.

Oh, man.
I loved Dean's last call, i loved hunters talking about them...
I loved John's slow realization and i loved the boys waking up fast and *ready*.
And i love/hated how they just...shut him out. Done, over.
*sniffle*
Excellent stuff.
I wanted something good when I opened up the flist. And boy I got something good. Ohhhhhhhhh damn, I got something good. The moment when they both pull their guns on him? Startling. Awesome. You rock, as always.
Be aware, the links from the story doesn't properly lead back here, just to your journal itself.
Bittersweet and gorgeous and so so good. Thank you for sharing it.
That's a hell of a twist on the Wincest, and for that I salute you.
Sorta like the idea of John just being so completely done with them smashes other things.
And you get deliciously shallow lust-noises made at you for the image of Sam curled up by Dean's hip. Oh yes. Thank you!
(/me rereads it for the fifth time)
OW! Stop that!
Hang on, let me read it again....
Guh.
So much compact emotion and tragedy, it's impossible to not ache for all of them. Perfectly conceived and gorgeously written.
And Dean. Doing it all for Sam. Even standing up against their father. *clenches*
Really nice. Loved it.
Uh...
