he was grinning exactly like an idiot asking to get hit with half a dozen paternity suits, even if he was half-alien and probably couldn't have kids without a laboratory and a minimum of two Nobel-prizewinning scientists involved.

-- this strikes my ear as a bit like leakage from SGA, but I'm not sure what version of Tim you're working with. Frankly, the one I know best is Animated-Teen-Titans!Tim, and thete1 & I were never able to determine if he has actual *eyes*, so my mental image of Tim is a bit . . . strange.

But animated Teen Titans Robin is Dick Grayson, isn't it? There's that one episode with Larry spelling his name backwards.

i cannot actually express how HAPPY THIS MAKES ME OMG. it's so TIM and so KON and so PERFECT and dawwww, the happy snarky married couple in the background just makes it better--especially "So is it an effort to control it right now?" <----*ded, ded, ded* and TIM, poor confused Tim with his lists and his spreadsheets and then there was the part that made me do this:

Eeeeeeee! The ending is just perfect! I adore how horndog Kon is, so very canon Superboy, and I love how thinky Tim is, and how he wanted to make a spreadsheet with weighted values. *vbg*

I love the Reconcilable Differences universe. The POV of the characters is always so entertaining, and the dialogue not only makes me laugh, but it also doesn't stop the story's flow (something I think can happen with 'funny' bits.)

Wow - Tim, Kon, Steph! This is wonderful.

So, apparently there is! Thanks, are you going to be expanding on this unoverse?

Tim's a little... off for me (not CreepyStalkerBoy/Battish enough!). I guess I like him more stoic. I mean, he's stoic here, but you have to understand, when you're a Bat, you're Super Stoic especially when you're Timothy Drake, wonder boy to the shizzle Dick's the exception of the Bat family, because he's the biggest attentionwhoredramaqueen ever. Even around Kon he's Super Stoic Batboy, though they're still boyfriends best friends forever. XD The only people he ever loosens up around is (well, was) Steph and Dick. Like Tim is the one who works on bodily instincts when moving while his mind ticks away, and Dick is the one who complete revels in the actions, because he's a performer. Like, I can't see Tim snapping at Clark, but Dick definitely would in the situation after Kon's huff-off, also because Dick's been more comfortable around Superman/Clark than Tim. Also Tim doesn't scramble, he gracefully flips. XD SORRY I AM BEING SO PICKY BUT TIM IS MY BABY BOY WOOBIEROBINKINS! *is overprotective of her Robin* Like, hmmm, how to put it. Tim is the kind of boy who would sneak up on Clark and Lex having sex to take notes and enter detailed analysis of their physical sexual structures in the Batmatrix later on. Cos he's like that. And that's why I love him. XD

So, yeah. But he's still wonderful, and I love this fic and I love you for writing it. LOOOOOVVVEEEEE! Especially the last part, because Tim secretly loves to torture Kon like that. XDDD ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
